Frank Gaschler (DE), Irmtraud Kauschat (DE), Louise Romain (FR/GB),
Magdalena Sendor (PO) and Godfrey Spencer (FR/GB) and plenty of yet-to-be-named guests!
Peace Factory is honoured and thrilled to offer you access to a ground-breaking way to engage in learning Nonviolent Communication – a Virtual Intensive Course!
One of two virtual intensive events endorsed and fully supported by the Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC), the VIC aims to encourage and promote intercultural dialogue and citizenship during this period where face to face International Intensive Trainings (IITs) have been cancelled due to health concerns.
Join us from 13th to 22nd of November, for the first Virtual Intensive Course (VIC), especially geared to support NVC learning for people living in African/European time zones.
Sessions are offered in English and French languages at times to suit those living in UTC time zones 0 to +4. Multiple languages are organised on an ad hoc basis.
English is used as our shared common language during community sessions and there is translation English/French/English for all community meetings (sessions one and four).
Two workshops a day are also translated from English into French: one every morning, one every afternoon (sessions two and three).
No other translation is envisaged by the organisers, although our experience is that many bilingual people are happy to jump in when necessary on an ad hoc basis. You can also buy a ticket for two and work side by side with your own interpreter.
Through a range of activities, the VIC aims to expand the reach and scope of technology-enabled people-to-people trainings sustained over a period of 8 days. It offers a safe, online community in which to participate, experiment and facilitate learning with 10 experienced trainers, all certified with CNVC.
Prices are in Euros.
If you would prefer to pay in US Dollars, please contact Louise.
The fee to participate for the eight days online course includes access to the Virtual Exchange Platform and full course documentation. It does not include equipment to join or your internet connection charges.
€1500 Standard contribution per person
€2800 Two people sharing the same postal address booked together
€750 Reduced-resources contribution (please contact Irmtraud)
€500 Participating CNVC certified trainer
€1125 Registered certification candidate with CNVC
Attendance at an IIT is a request of those who wish to become CNVC certified trainers, and whilst it is highly recommended to anyone who wishes to share NVC, whether you want to be certified or not, this course is also recognised as equivalent to an IIT. More info here : https://www.cnvc.org/certification/process#CPP
Come and join the fun of learning in a virtual community where there are opportunities galore for dialogue, being authentic, refining your listening skills and getting feedback on how you share NVC! Now is the time to increase intercultural awareness and build 21st century NVC skills through our Virtual Exchange platform.
